Dr. Frank J. Borao, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a board‑certified general and bariatric surgeon known for his expertise in minimally invasive and foregut surgery. With decades of surgical experience, Dr. Borao has served as Director of the Center for Esophageal and Gastric Surgery and Director of Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery, helping establish one of the region’s most respected surgery practices.
He specializes in bariatric procedures, including gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, as well as advanced general surgical care for conditions like hernias, complex abdominal wall disorders, and foregut disease.
